Thursday 4 September, 2008 - The Dark Night of the Soul : a lecture by Dr. Brigitta Beer All mystics have experienced a “Dark Night of the Soul”. Research shows that Jung also went through a “Dark Night of the Soul”.

 

Saturday 20 September, 2008 - Saturday workshop: Telling our Stories, Healing our Hurts, with Jenni Cargill-Strong, story teller Myths offer us metaphors for the powerful archetypal forces at play in our ordinary lives.  We sometimes forget that our own lives have all the elements of a powerful myth: joy, suffering, triumph, failure, birth, death, love and loss. 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, Rosicrucian Centre, 157 Norman St., Norman Park. Thursday 2 October, 2008 - Going into "The Great Deep" : a place of collective memory, primary imagination and portal for the renewed images of the archetypes : a lecture by Maria Makinson, Jungian analyst The notion of the 'collective unconscious' has been increasingly challenged by some contemporary Jungians. Following on with the foundation series Marie Makinson takes a fresh look at this cornerstone of Jung's ideas.
